This workshop is for people who are familiar with Windows XP and want to learn how to keep their computer running efficiently. We will cover: 

·  How to automatically or manually backup your important data, like pictures, documents  and emails

·  Keep free from malicious software such as viruses and spyware

·  Free up hard drive space by clearing out unnecessary files

·  Remove software from running at startup and in the background, which helps speed things up

·  Update Windows with the latest patches – what you need and what you don’t need to do

·  Defragment your computer

·  Speed up your computer by adding memory, defragmenting, and tweaking Windows XP.

Bring your laptop for a better course experience, however it's not required. Let us know if you would like to borrow a computer for the workshop.
