The first rule of computer maintenance is:

Backup, Backup, Backup

Computer components, especially hard drives, have a limited life span.

It is not if, but when will your hard drive fail.

If there is valuable data (letters, email, documents, photos, music, movies, etc.) that is irreplaceable or would take an enormous amount of time and aggravation to replace, you need to have a backup procedure in place. Some possibilities are:

1. CD/DVD

2. External Hard Drive

3. Online Backup

Depending on how much data you need to save, you can do this manually or we can help you set up an automatic backup system. For automatic backups, the same files and folders are backed up according to your preferences. This could be everyday, every week, or every month. You could backup your whole computer or just vital data. You could choose to do a complete backup every time or just documents you’ve changed. We can find the best approach for your needs.

Call us for a consultation.

Backup services starting at $100 (equipment not included)

For secure off-site, online backup, we recommend echoSafe Data solutions. They have a variety of plans to meet your needs. Please visit www.echosafe.com for more info.
